Our annual fall visit to France started in late August. We spent a few days recovering from jet lag, and squeezed in a visit to the Musee Carnavalet for an exhibit about Napoleon and his relationship to Paris.
Naturally, no photos of the Napoleon expo...but, a few of the museum itself and its permanent collection.
We learned at the expo that in Napoleon's time this statue had been at the top of the column at the Bastille.
The it was time to say goodbye to Paris and take the train to the Vendee.
