Petit Palais

On Saturday we met Jeanne at the MiniPalais for lunch, then took in the temporary exhibit at the Petit Palias across the street.

We walked in front of the Grand Palais to get to the restaurant, where we sat on the terrace. The weather was just barely, barely warm enough to sit outside.

While we ate we could see the Petit Palais across the street.

No photos of the exhibit, but the building itself is one of my favorites.

This is a long hallway from which one entered the exhibition rooms.  It was lined with huge enlargements of lithographs of Rome, which were almost as interesting as the paintings of the exhibit, of the "low life" of Rome.
