Lake Ballaton

 After our return to Budapest from Amsterdam we left immediately for Lake Balaton in the countryside.  That meant checking into and out of our Budapest hotel, walking down the stairs to the park,

down more stairs,

through the park,

 

to the train station, and to the train.  When we arrived at the town, we did not know what to expect, but there were friends Ludwig and Catherine, waiting to give us a ride to our hotel.   After which we went to dinner and had a dusky drive along the shore.
