And we're off to

visit Bill and Cindy in New Jersey! Where we took a walk at the nearby marina;

visited the Adventure Aquarium in Camden (across the river from Philadelphia)...

the hippos were the best part,

but the other critters were swell too.

We had a great time at the Bobby Valli show, singing our fool heads off to the unique musical stylings of Frankie Valli, sung by his younger and not-so-famous brother Bobby. (Stay tuned, folks -- video WITH AUDIO will be posted when time permits!)

After which we had to recuperate, in time for a trip to the infamous Jersey Shore and Cindy's birthday with the kids and grandkids.

On one side of the boardwalk we had the sea and the shore,

while on the other side of the boardwalk it was a bit more festive.

The trip would not have been complete without a sausage sandwich.
The grandkids doing their wiggle dance at the birthday party;

cake, of course;

Tracy;

Nick and Susie;

Larry and Alyssa.

What trip to New Jersey would be complete without a visit to Rutt's Hut, home of the famous deep fried hot dog? (Actually, any trip would be complete without such a visit, since the hot dogs tasted very much like -- wait for it -- hot dogs!)

And then it was off to the Big Apple.
