KOBO Inc is a Canadian ebook publisher that gave out a promotional code for a free book. When I went to order the book using the code, the website accepted the code, but gave me no way to review my order before submitting it. Once I had, it showed a full price charge. I complained to the company, that told me the promotion had already expired when I used it, and that it would charge me full price. I responded that if they charged me, I would tell everyone I know that KOBO should be avoided.
They charged me.
So consider yourselves told!
