ST PETERSBURG DAY 3, KUZNECHNY MARKET

After our tour of Dostoyevsky's apartment, we darted into the large market in the next block, the Kuznechny Market.

It was a nice market, much like many we have seen in France.  There were a few unusual items, however....

I've never seen so many different kinds of raisins in one place.

 These ladies were selling honey.

Dried mushrooms hung on strings.

And, of course, caviar by the pound.  About $120 a pound.
