ST PETERSBURG DAY 5, ROAD SCHOLARS SAY GOODBYE

Following our very full and tiring day at the Hermitage, we took the bus across the canal to dinner at a restaurant.  But we were in for a surprise.  Not only did the dinner include vodka and other delicacies, we were entertained by musicians and dancers, and even some of our own.

And finally, Violetta and Snow, guides extraordinaire...

And our tour comes to a close...

Such wonderful photos. Thank you so much. It makes me want to sign up for that trip immediately. Is it possible that the woman in the red polka dotted t shirt is named Alice? She looks very much like a woman from California that we went to India with. I would love to find her. Mary Ann Crayton

No Alices on our trip, I'm afraid, so we can't help you there. But I'm pretty sure we were all happy with the trip and would recommend it to other travelers.

Susan, these fine photos give me an ideal preview of the trip, which I'm planning to make in September. Thank you for them. Can't wait to go.
