Around Montmartre

Our final day of orientation took us on a long walk around the hill.  Above is the backside of the church, take from a little park with a lovely covered arbor.

From there we went down the hill away from the church.  at the base of these stairs we found some lunch.

After lunch we headed on around the hill, emerging at the base of the stairs of the church.
We continued along our route, stopping at the tile wall near the Abbesses Metro station, where "I love you" is inscribed in hundreds of languages.

We spent a few moments in the church across the street, a very modern brick and steel style, with deco touches.

Finally we turned the corner to head home when we saw the windmill, the moulin.
