In the 'Hood

We took a walking through a nearby neighborhood, Batignolles.  This is Sainte-Marie-de-Batignolles. 

 That is real sunlight coming through near the clouds.

There is a lovely square nearby with a large garden.

We hopped on the metro and went back to Montmartre, this time getting out on the other side of the hill, making our way back home by way of the funicular.

 The funicular avoids the attractive, but very long stairs.

And here we are.  Our apartment is across the street and looks out on this wonderful art deco awning.
